Indiana increases AT&T 4G LTE coverage

There are many different ways that organizations have been able to improve the way they operate. However, for many of these to be successful, there must be a strong network in place to support them. For example, if your business has state-of-the-art computers with an inventory management software, it will be pointless if the network powering this hardware is over a decade old.

This is why businesses and cities are looking to improve their networks. According to a press release from AT&T, the organization is rolling out its 4G LTE wireless network to Anderson and parts of Pendleton, Indiana.

These areas will gain access to faster speeds, reliable access, new devices, faster response times and a more efficient use of spectrum. Anderson Mayor Kevin Smith spoke in the release about how this will benefit both the residents and businesses in the area.

"The ability to have access to the latest communications technology is critical in an information-driven economy," Smith said. "Investments like this will insure that our citizens have improved wireless service to enhance their overall quality of life. Also, businesses in Anderson of all sizes will have the ability to better compete in a global economy. I would like to thank AT&T for its investment in our community."

With an improved network, companies can spin this into upgrading a number of other services as well. This means organizations will have a better platform to deploy software for manufacturing, inventory, enterprise resource planning or any number of business needs.
