Google shows interest in Indiana business

Is Google expressing an interest in Indiana businesses? It certainly seems like it, with the upcoming workshop it has announced to train professionals in different fields how to fully migrate and stay solvent online.

While it seems that this effort will be tailored mostly to those outfits that want to boost their visibility on the web, the focus on online applications and the way that they make your business planning easier is also crucial to understanding what an integrated business accounting program could potentially do for you.

This workshop, called "Get Your Business Online," seems to be part of an initiative to improve the amount of local companies that are available and do most of their work online. According to a release on the event that was published on Inside Indiana Business, just a little more than half of those operating in the Hoosier state are currently engaged in cyberspace, and this (free) event will supposedly aim to gear owners CEOs to thinking more clearly about the benefits of working and orienting their craft online.

Since nearly all online browsers are turning to the internet for information on even local companies, the release quoted Indiana's own Senator Dan Coats on the importance of arming entrepreneurs and others with the right functionality.

"I am proud to join with Google to bring this seminar to Indiana," he said. "This is an excellent opportunity for Hoosier business owners to receive tools and valuable skills free of charge from experts in online development."

Obviously, Google isn't the only one who holds a monopoly on software that can be a business necessity: software for manufacturing companies that is closely compatible with Windows and represents an industry trend can be extremely valuable.
